In the age of streaming, is the art of the DVD commentary lost?

Perhaps, but McDonald’s and Cossette are keeping it alive for the cinephiles among us, with this new campaign ahead of the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).

With McCafe being the official coffee of the fest, the brand brewed up these “Employee Commentary” segments, featuring its behind-the-counter auteurs narrating artful scenes of cappuccino and latte ordering.

And now we’re craving caffeine and the early aughts.
