What were they thinking?

Strangers in the streets reveal their thoughts.

The frowns and giggles of passersby make plenty of sense to Simon Hoegsberg, a Danish photographer, who interviewed people in the streets of Copenhagen and New York City. Armed with a mic, a dictaphone and a camera, Simon stopped 150 strangers over a period of three months, 55 of which are included in The Thought Project. And what did they talk about? Love, careers, text messages and phone convos – the things and stuff that make our world go round.

Just click on the people to see what they were thinking. (If only it were always so easy. Le sigh.)
