Taxi‘s Calgary office launched this opportunistic wild posting campaign to promote local hemp shop Grass Roots. Playing off the recent incident wherein Olympian Michael Phelps’ bong controversy cost him some endorsement deals, Grass Roots shows its support for the swimmer’s recreational pursuits. ‘Hemp’ is not a retail category typically associated with IOC sponsorship scrutiny, and although they do typically frown upon any perceived endorsement piracy, likely the Grass Roots folks are too mellow to fret about such things . . .
