Escape with film

Nothing says 'sweet' like a Silver at the Young Lions Film competition at Cannes.

Proving that there is most certainly hope for the future of the Canadian ad industry, Joel Pylypiw and Chris Booth of DDB Toronto brought home a Silver from the Young Lions Film competition at the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival. They developed this animated effort for FilmAid International, a non-profit organization that brings films to refugees around the world for entertainment and education. Film certainly provides some measure of escapism for everyone, but there are obviously those who need a means to escape reality more than the rest of us. These two gents certainly nailed that message with this one.
