There are some who refuse to believe that journalism will be buried with newspaper advertising. GlobalPost proposes to cut journalism’s reliance on advertising by inviting media junkies like me inside the newsroom. For a small fee I get in on a conference call with a journalist in a war zone, a chance to pitch stories to the editors and questions to interview subjects, plus global and national trend briefings – oh yeah, and a newsletter.
