St. John’s-based Target came up with this nifty DM piece to promote The Sprout, a vegetarian restaurant located in downtown St. John’s. It includes a little clay pot and seeds to grow herbs like oregano, basil or cilantro. Once their own sprout breaches the surface, users will have a reminder of the restaurant’s fresh, made-from-scratch menu. The package also comes with growing instructions, general info about the particular herb and a list of Sprout menu items it’s used in.
