Christmas came early this year for Transformers director Michael Bay, who’s directed such classics as Bad Boys, Bad Boys 2, The Rock and, who could forget, Con-Air. His present? The chance to shoot something without the pesky distraction of a logical plot or characters with depth. Enter the next edition of our holiday wrap-up: this year’s Victoria’s Secret Christmas commercial, a visual spectacle rife with explosions, weapons, danger, a hardcore soundtrack, eroticism and tons of hot scantily-clad women. In typical Michael Bay fashion there is even a helicoptor cameo. Also in typical Michael Bay fashion, it sacrifices story for flash. What does this actually have to do with Christmas? Seriously.
