Susan Bonds knows a lot about crafting interactive narratives that span platforms. She heads 42 Entertainment, a California-based company renowned for developing alternate reality games (ARG), immersive experiences that put people into stories in both the real and online worlds, that have garnered a lot of buzz of late. Two notable examples to come out of her company are the Why So Serious ARG that was developed for The Dark Knight and Year Zero for the band Nine Inch Nails, both of which won Cyber Grand Prix at Cannes. Bonds was a speaker at Media in Canada‘s AToMiC event in October, and we were lucky enough to steal a few minutes of her time for this video interview.
