The issue of biodiversity can sometimes ruffle feathers.

The results are in and the winner of the second International Advertising Association (IAA)-Dentsu Global Student Poster Competition (which was launched in support of United Nations communications projects) is Dusan Simic of Serbia. Working with the theme of biodiversity, her winning entry, called ‘Nest,’ shows how our fine feathered friends will be constructing their homes if we don’t do something about it. Sure, the nest in her poster is colourful, but birds are a proud species and we don’t doubt that living in a rainbow-coloured home fashioned from plastic drinking straws might do some damage to their dignity.
