This spot for Snickers Peanut Butter Squared by BBDO confuses us. It involves a focus group consisting of great white sharks discussing which of two people they enjoyed eating more. We get that – great white sharks eat people (see Jaws). The many-toothed maneaters decide they like the guy better because while the girl tasted like chocolate and peanut butter, the guy tasted like those two things plus a mystery ingredient. Turns out it’s Snickers. Okay, we get that the point is Snickers Peanut Butter Squared is better tasting than your standard peanut butter cup. But, why would people want to eat something that’s more likely to get them eaten by a shark? Beats us.
