Big box

McDonald's supersizes its Happy Meal.

Kids love Happy Meals. As the name would suggest, McDonald’s stalwart boxed kid’s option makes them happy. You know what makes them even happier? A giant Happy Meal box (if Ronald McDonald were to have a house he’d live in one of these). Leo Burnett London strategically placed supersized boxes in random places, and they were even cooler than the toys typically found inside. One acted like a beach fort of sorts; another squirted water, effectively turning into a giant sprinkler; and a third acted as a giant canvas for budding young artists. The message McDonald’s was looking to spread is “Loving,” and watching the video below it’s clear that kids and parents alike were loving it.
