Eccotique Spa's a riot.
Vancouver-based spa group Eccotique has launched a novel campaign playing off of the chaos that went down following the Vancouver Canucks’ loss to the Boston Bruins during the Stanley Cup final in June. Developed by Vancouver-based agency Kommunity, the campaign offers those who participated in the Vancouver riots free massages, pedicures, waxes and other spa services in return for a confession. Rioters will receive special “$50 Calm Down & De-Stress” Gift Certificates in a once-only, limited-time offer. Posters promoting the effort feature the tagline “You didn’t pay for anything at the riots. Why stop now?” We would have accepted the add-on, “It’s a deal so good it might as well be illegal. Like all the stuff you did.”
