A tale of two cities

Lg2boutique creates double-sided design for La Vittoria.

In designing the visual platform for this year’s La Vittoria, a posh benefit supper in support of Fondation Marie-Vincent in Montreal, Lg2boutique found inspiration in the home cities of the celebrity chefs helming the five-star dinner. This year there were two: Daniel Boulud from New York and Christophe Michalak from Paris. Lg2boutique developed two-sided posters, a reversible book, the invitation, the room decor, the waiters’ aprons, the menus and other elements to visually represent both cities. Black-stroke typeface, geometric shapes and the colours yellow and black were used to represent the urban style of New York, while antique rose and intertwined serif typefaces represented the romanticism of Paris. Contrast has never looked so appetizing.
