VW's Super Bowl advertising has gone to the dogs.

This Super Bowl teaser ad for Volkswagen has become a pretty big hit in a very short period of time and it hints that VW has adopted a theme when it comes to its year-to-year advertising for the big game. Last year VW’s ad, which was developed by Deutsch LA, featured a little boy dressed as Darth Vader who starts his dad’s VW by “using the force.” This year, Deutsch and VW are indicating what’s to come on game day with a rendition of the Imperial March by a chorus of canines. Normally we’d say that VW’s advertising c/o Deutsch has gone to the dogs, but that’s probably not the case. We’ll just have to wait and see.
