Eulerian Video Magnification

Get (really) up close and personal.

M.I.T. has a new technology that lets you get close. We mean really close. Close enough to see the colour changes of a person’s skin as his or her blood pumps through the veins. The technology is call Eulerian Video Magnification. It goes through existing video frame by frame, and then amplifies the minute changes. It seems destined right now for use in hospitals, but it’ll be very cool to see if folks in the creative industry pick it up too.
