Miniature aquariums

3D paintings that give "life" to marine art.

Singapore-based artist Keng Lye creates truly realistic looking aquatic art. For his work, called “Alive without breath,” Lye layers epoxy resin and acrylic paint and small physical objects into bowls to make three dimensional animals that look so life-like, they appear to be protruding from the surface of the make-shift aquarium. It’s the perfect pet for people who tend to kill cacti.
