OneMatch wants to give us not a hero we need, but a hero we deserve. Also, it gives us an opportunity to butcher The Dark Knight quotes, but that’s neither here, nor there. OneMatch, Canadian Blood Services’ Stem Cell and Marrow Network, and RAPP Canada have unveiled a fancy new parallax comic book One Hero, complete with sound effects and a thumping soundtrack, following a “hero” as he tries to get a cure to a captured woman named Allison. It’s slick, if a bit predictable (spoiler alert! The hero saves the day…mostly), and a call to action for folks to sign up to be a donor. Maybe in the next edition, they can introduce a heroine?
