WestJet's holiday surprise for travellers.

[iframe_youtube video=”zIEIvi2MuEk#t=0″]
Following up on last year’s Christmas-cheer spreading stunt, WestJet decided to give some passengers on their way to Calgary from Hamilton and Toronto a flight to remember. First, the waiting passengers had the chance to tell a virtual Santa Claus what they wanted for Christmas. Sounds like a fun diversion while waiting for a flight, but WestJet went the distance, tasking staff to purchase the gifts on passengers’ wishlists. When the travellers arrived in Calgary to collect their baggage, they were greeted with wrapped presents instead. Yes, even a “big TV.” We just hope they had room for it in their car.
