Africa’s got style

The vintage scene is alive and well in Namibia. Yes, Namibia.

It’s always interesting to see how people around the world choose to take vintage pieces from estate sales, thrift stores, and the like, and incorporate them into their present look.¬†However, inspiration is usually found in the same few places – the U.K., North America and Japan. That’s what makes this beautifully photographed blog by Loux the Vintage Guru so unique. Loux, along with his friends, is repping vintage ’40s style in Namibia and making readers jealous of all the African vintage clothing, which he says is dirt cheap there.

This¬†week’s Frandoms are by Jane Murray and Jonathan Daly, co-CD and strategic planner at Lowe Roche.
