McDonald's re-enacts World Cup highlights with deep-fried spuds.

Missed some of the early games from the World Cup, or just looking for an alternate take on the sporting event? Well, grab some ketchup and head on over to YouTube, where McDonald’s is serving up highlights from key matches, re-enacted with french fries. It’s part of the brand’s “GOL!” campaign, including redesigned packaging for its fries and an augmented reality game. The bite-sized clips are pretty entertaining, not to mention accurate (or as accurate as you can be when using two french fries to represent a player). We found the “team talk” particularly inspiring.
