Time and Desire

Toronto's street art at its most rebellious.

Street signs can be so mundane. Not these though. There’s nothing blah about a sign post that says “This is that sign on the corner” or “Boring walls are a crime.” They’ve been stationed all over Toronto, and placed there by two artists, Denise St Marie and Timothy B. Walker (aka, Time and Desire), over the past few years. Their work explores “new-genre public art, text art/signage, interventions and socially engaged installations”  and they bring a bit of a rebellious hue to the city to make it that much more colourful.
