Vinyls aren’t ready to let go. They’re not giving in to the modern-day way of doing things and disappearing into the shadows of digital-everything. Now, they’re making themselves useful by masquerading around as hair combs, used for both straightening and detangling strands on the head and face. These glorious pieces are from¬†Estonia-based product designer¬†Pavel Sidorenko and graphic designer/ceramist Maria Sidorenko, and they pay homage to a time before cassette tapes, CDs and iTunes. The Grably‘s record rings, which once-upon-a-time played music, now provide a slip-free grip for comb-handlers. Leave it to vinyls to make life simple and wonderful once more.
