Stop hitting yourself, stop hitting yourself

Can Sling rescue you from wet willies and wedgies?

To promote Sling, a new streaming service in the U.S., agency Camp & King wanted to portray it as a way to escape from the frustrations and strong-arm tactics that come with some TV providers. So it showed the way “Old TV” operates by putting common schoolyard bullies into uniforms as they go out to do their work, complete with wet willies, wedgies and thrwet willies and wedgieseats for more money.

It has to be said, though, that it’s a little bit strange to have this campaign be for Sling, as the service is owned and operated by Dish Network, which some might describe as being the same bullies shown in this spot. Wait, do you think they’re reading this? Oh no. Forget what I just said, and if you don’t hear from me by lunch, check for me inside my locker…
