Why is it that Hollywood never shows us the normal day-to-day lives of superheroes and villains in films? Surely they can’t all be fighting and creating crime every second of the day. Darth Vader’s got to pee sometime, right? That’s precisely what this photographer must have been thinking when he created scenes in which heroes like Batman and Superman, as well as villains like Stormtroopers, are seen doing everyday (and sometimes mundane) tasks, like filling up on gas, raking leaves and checking Facebook, among other things. Daniel Picard is a photographer and graphic designer based in Ottawa and in his work he “combines his love of collectible figures/statues and his passion for photography into a seamless art form that is being enjoyed by people of all ages all over the world.”
