Unity in craft brewing
"The Biggest Small Beer" features the names of 4,490 breweries on its can for American Craft Beer Week.
It is currently American Craft Beer Week, and legions of small brewers have come together to create something special for the celebration. “The Biggest Small Beer” is being brewed from the same recipe by over 100 brewers and is being sold across the U.S. While that’s an impressive enough show of solidarity in itself, an even bigger one is the can, which features the names of 4,490 craft breweries from all 50 states.
In addition to some posters that embrace the hipstery style other beers have previously mocked (see below), Colorado-based agency Victors & Spoils created this video for “The Biggest Small Beer,” which takes a small-budget approach to the ‘murica-loving tropes some of its big competitors are known for.

While the can doesn’t exactly make the sometimes-intimidating world of craft beer seem any less overwhelming to learn about, we suppose it does serve as a handy research tool for when you’re south of the border and looking for a new beer to try.
