Bike to work with Playmobil hair
Bicycle helmet design has really come a long way.
Cyclists everywhere leave the house every morning wondering how they can get to work with that perfect Playmobil hair intact. Some Scandinavian designers have been working on it, sort of.
Simon Higby and Clara Knock, from DDB Stockholm and Copenhagen, respectively, partnered with Danish company Moef on a bike helmet kids would be excited to wear. The prototype is inspired by the Playmobil mop top, and is sure to resonate beyond the under-12 demographic.

And if you’re looking for more than just style points, there’s this from U.K.-based DCA Design: a helmet with a drop-down visor that displays information from built-in front and rear cameras, as well as other navigational tools and statistics.
