Seeing vision loss in a new way

CNIB and DDB tackle misconceptions about blind employees in two PSAs that end with a twist.

Diversity in the workplace is often top of mind these days, but misconceptions about blind employees still prevail.

CNIB is hoping to change that with a new campaign in honour of National Disability Employment Awareness Month.

Two PSA spots in the new “EmployAbility” campaign by DDB show that blind workers are just as capable as their peers. Each spot has its own twist that forces the viewer to see employees with vision loss in a new light.┬áThe overarching message is that while people with vision loss may face many challenges at work, “misconceptions are the hardest to overcome.”
