Here’s a piece of OOH bound to leave an impression on residents of Manhattan’s Lower East Side.

To help launch its “New York Made” campaign, Nike collaborated with the city’s parks and rec department and Brooklyn-based artist Brian Donnelly, known as Kaws, to give the Stanton Street basketball courts a makeover.

Donnelly lived near the courts when he first moved to Manhattan and has a personal attachment to them. He described his approach to the project as seeking the sweet spot that “works visually and functionally,” with the design having “an intimate effect on the players that use the court.”
