Telling Canadian writers’ stories
The Juggernaut's animated series for the Writers Guild of Canada makes the case for Canadian culture.

As politicians and pundits debate the role of the CBC in Canada’s cultural mix, the Writers Guild of Canada has a new video series that makes a heartfelt case for Canadian stories.
Toronto production, design and animation studio The Juggernaut created the series of short animated films, “Telling Canadian Stories. Telling CanadianS Stories.” The videos celebrate Canadian creation through the anecdotes of three screenwriters paired with unique animation.
For anyone who has felt the power of seeing their hometown reflected in a work of fiction, or remembers wanting to listen to the adult stories rather than playing “kick the can” with the other kids, these short animations will resonate.
