A new type of look for Netflix

The streamer unveiled a custom font, taking a queue from the likes of Apple and Google.

When do you know you’ve officially “made it?” Is it when you have your own fashion line? Your own fragrance?

How about your own font?

Netfix unveiled its own custom font, entitled “Netflix Sans,” which it will use for all of its internal interface and marketing materials.

Netflix isn’t the first company to release its own custom font — Google and Apple have also created their own typeface. Take a look for yourself and see how it fits on the titles for Netflix’s own shows (no, don’t panic, the iconic red neonĀ Stranger ThingsĀ logo isn’t disappearing from the show itself, just on Netflix’s interface display).
