Soda pop lollipops to quench your thirst

How much sugar is in that soft drink? A photog captures the truth.

Just because it’s invisible, doesn’t mean it’s not there. Henry Hargreaves, a photographer from New Zealand, is capturing the sneaky sugar molecules in soft drinks for his latest project, “(de)hydrate.” First, he removes all the water inside a bottle of Coke (for example), isolating the sugar in the drink and places the substance in a lollipop mould to create a tasty, but seriously unhealthy, treat. Take a look at the comparison he makes between a regular-sized lollipop and that of a soft drink. That’s it, we’re done.
