Horror flicks get charted.
Do some places just better lend themselves as the setting for horror flicks? Esri Story Maps may help answer that question. The Geography of Horror has plotted about 200 scary movies from pre-1960s to present day and sorted them by their locations, using data from Wikimedia Commons and IMDb, so now you can choose in which language you’d like to be scared. And of course, which areas to strike off your (or put on) your travel hit list.
