You’re never too old to colour
Heard of colouring books for adults? Well, now there's an app for that.

Based on my age, one would assume that I’ve come to terms with this whole “adult” thing, but I have yet to accept that fate. It’s not that I can’t be a grown-up, I just don’t want to, and no one can make me! It seems I’m not the only one who feels this way. Lately, there’s been a trend toward colouring books for adults (not to be confused with adult colouring books), which has led to new digital forms of the beloved pastime.
The Colorfy app, for Android and iOS, is the digital colouring book for big kids. Choose from a variety of design categories, including floral, animals, famous works, patterns, and more, and tap to fill every intricate detail with a colour of your choice from a supplied palette. When you’ve finished your creation, you have the opportunity to share via the usual social media suspects and get inspired by the works of other colouring enthusiasts. The free version comes with a range of designs and one basic colour palette, but for the devoted, a weekly, monthly, or yearly subscription will unlock countless more hours of fun.
