This ad, one of three developed by TBWAVancouver to promote the Vancouver International Film Festival (VIFF), recently won Best of Show at the 2009 Lotus Awards. Playing off the warnings that are commonly seen before movies, the ads include phrases like, ‘The following film may contain scenes with subtitles,’ and for the above, ‘Warning, the following film may contain scenes of sexuality.’ The ads aim to remind filmgoers to keep an open mind when checking out VIFF movies and judging by this ad they mean a very open mind indeed.
