This TIFF-sponsorship spot promoting Astral’s long history of funding Canadian cinema shows what can happen to your script if you meet with a producer who isn’t willing (or able) to ante up the proper coin. Needless to say, it will create some logistical plot problems. The Bos-created short got a huge response from the crowd at the opening night gala screening, likely because they’d all experienced something along those lines before . . .
