McDonald’s helped Albertans keep cool this summer with a nifty interactive ice sculpture promoting its “Dollar Drink Days” campaign. It consisted of 8,000 pounds of ice moulded into a seven-foot-tall installation, with 4,000 loonies inside forming the shape of the QSR’s renowned Golden Arches. As the day wore on and the icy arches began to melt, people chipped away at the sculpture to claim their coins. The execution was developed by Cossette Vancouver.
