Douglas Coupland’s Vancouver
The famous Canadian shoots for the CTC.

Canada has nothing to slouch its shoulders about when it comes to filmmaking. We don’t need Wikipedia to come up with names like Denys Arcand, David Cronenberg and Atom Egoyan. James Cameron too, depending on how you’re counting. Even our writers can direct! Or it would appear so based on Douglas Coupland’s contribution to the Canadian Tourism Commission’s latest campaign by DDB called “35 Million Directors.” But you don’t need to be a big name to participate. The CTC invites all Canadians to contribute their first-hand experiences of the country in video form, the best of which will be featured in its next campaign.
