Future Shop gives away cash, socially.
Students are often broke. That’s the reasoning behind the latest campaign from Future Shop and John St., which launched Future U, a social media grant system that rewards kids for interacting with the brand. Students can win products weekly (and a chance to announce them over radio commercials) through a Facebook audition, take pop quizes over Instagram (it’s an Instagrant or an Instaquiz…get it?), or write the world’s shortest Twitter essay (aka 140 characters long) for a chance to win $140. Let the puns begin.
