Fits like a glove

So simple: a bike seat latch to keep the thieves away.

kickstarter page imageThose damn bike thieves. Every city has ’em and (almost) every biker has experienced them. It’s usually the bike seat that goes missing first, so these clever kids, Tiva and Slava in the U.S., have created a bike lock called Payback that comes with an anti-theft guarantee. The latch, which is currently on Kickstarter, is simple to connect to a bike seat, using small bolts and a Fortified lock. Now if only they can think of a security system for bells and baskets (also among the first to go). Maybe a sensor with an electric shock, or is that too cruel?
