Saent blocks pesky distractions
Here's a button that makes web distractions disappear.
Do you wake up every morning with the best intentions to be the most productive person you can be, only to cave the minute you sit down at your computer and become bombarded with distractions? It happens to the best of us, but now there’s a way to guarantee you won’t get sucked into the abyss of the web, and it comes packaged as a neat, sleek button. Saent, a startup based out of Beijing and run by Dutch creative Tim Metz, is the answer to your unproductive woes. The product, which is currently raising funds on Indiegogo, is both like and unlike other desktop software that blocks sites and apps identified as “unproductive” in that it also includes a piece of hardware (the futuristic white button that sits neatly to the side of your computer). We plan to purchase one, just as soon as we’re done watching today’s slate of viral videos, playing Bejeweled on desktop and finish catching up on the latest Trump fiasco on TMZ. We’ll get there though.
