Nothing is cooler than guitars made from broken skateboards.
If guitars and skateboards are chick magnets, then these Prisma Guitars must be the mac daddy of chick magnets. They’re made from broken and used skateboard decks (which basically doubles their cool factor). The creative brains behind the “guiboards” (as we’ve dubbed them) is 22-year-old Nick Pourfard, a self-taught woodworker and industrial design student who lives in San Francisco. We love a good upcycling story, and this one not only warms our heart, but also makes it skip a beat (we fully admit to being swooned right now).
