The King of Macabre, Tim Burton, is most famous for his blockbuster movies and his undeniable man crush on Johnny Depp, but what many don’t know is that he is also an accomplished author. A Nightmare Before Christmas was originally written by Burton as a children’s story that many of us all know and enjoy, but that is not the book I am referring to today. The Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy & Other Stories is the title and if that is not enough to send the imagination rampant, maybe some of these illustrations will help your young one sleep at night.
