Dispensing with the old tape dispenser
Introducing the sleek and highly practical ZYP-ZYP.

There’s an old New Yorker cartoon with a couple of snails and a tape dispenser. One snail says to the other: “I don’t care if she is a tape dispenser. I love her.”
It’s cute and hilarious, and also cleverly points out the over-elaborateness of a product that’s basically just a tiny, dull-ish blade.
Enter designer Pascal Heiler’s ZYP-ZYP Tape Dispenser. Made of a copper, nickel and tin alloy and shaped like a whistle (take noteĀ New Yorker cartoonists), it’s a minimalist answer to the clunky disposable plastic we’ve always known.
