Jump into the magic of winter
Arc'teryx, Google and Destination B.C. transport shoppers to Canada's best (virtual) slopes.

If you can’t get to the mountain, let the mountain come to you with the “Hut Magic” VR booth in Arc’teryx stores.
Since British Columbia is known for its spectacular mountains, Arc’teryx partnered with Destination BC and the BC Tourism Association to bring the province’s white wild alpines to shoppers while they peruse its insulated and shell jackets. The snow-covered huts, complete with mulled wine, fondue and friends, will pop-up in 17 stores across North America, bringing B.C.’s Howson Range slopes for people to experience in virtual reality.
“What’s incredible about Hut Magic is that you’re not just watching the action, you’re actually a character in the story,” said George Weetman, director of global consumer experience and digital commerce at Arc’teryx in a release. “It completely embodies the essence of a ski hut experience.”
The team used Google’s Jump technology to create the “Magic Hut,” with Switchback Entertainment on production.
