A true black-label collection

Montreal agency Featuring brought an exclusive and mysterious vibe to Roy Estate's labels.

Napa Valley-based winemaker Roy Estate has wrapped itself in a new look that’s sleek, sophisticated and just a little mysterious.

With a redesign courtesy of Montreal design agency Featuring, the new visual identity features black labels with minimalist, metallic accents for a polished, coherent look. Some of the imagery was inspired by the art at the very estate itself, such as the animalistic sculpture depicted on the “Mr. Evans” blend (pictured below, middle).

In addition to the labels, Featuring collaborated with web development agency Mutation Digitale to bring the no-frills elegance online. The website features the same muted black-with-gold look starkly popping out from a lot of white space. After all, you should always let your wine breathe.
