Goop pops up in Yorkville
Like a summer fling goop MRKT Toronto is here for a fun time, not a long time.
Do you Goop? The infamous Gwyneth Paltrow-led lifestyle brand is hoping so as it preps to consciously couple with The Six, bringing its pop-up goop MRKT Toronto to (where else?) Yorkville.
From June 7 until Sept. 22 The Hazelton Hotel will play host to the 1,300 square foot temporary space designed to immerse passerby in everything wellness, travel, food, beauty, style and work.
International design firm Yabu Pushelberg will bring the experience to Torontonians complete with all the insights Ms. Paltrow herself has discovered since launching the brand back in 2008, according to Jane Gill PR.
The pop-up shop is likely to feature Goop’s signature pale colour scheme and celebrate minimalist vibes set amidst a Malibu boho chic decor showcasing all the products you never knew you needed (like cult fav, G. Tox 5 Salt Detox Body Scrub). If you pop by the shop you may find out you have more in common with Paltrow (or G.P. as she’s reportedly known to pals) than you ever imagined – turns out she drinks out of handmade pottery, too!
Get your Goop on this summer as the breezy California lifestyle brand is dipping into Canadian waters for a limited time only. Like a Canadian summer it’ll be gone before you know it.
