An ode to 100 years of Grey Cup.

The Grey Cup turns 100 this year. And while its relevance varies depending on where in Canada you call home, it remains one of our most important heritage brands and Canada’s oldest professional sports trophy. As part of the ongoing celebration of that milestone, the Canadian Football League recently released the above video featuring the Tragically Hip’s “Gift Shop” with voiceover by Kiefer Sutherland. The folks at Bensimon Byrne wanted something that tugged at heartstrings while reflecting the values of Canadians from coast to coast. Works for us.
