An updated version of the award-winning 2003 book Logo R.I.P. was released in September. We’ll hand off to The Sunday Times here for a review: “Logo R.I.P. is not just a nostalgia trip, but a serious questioning of the ephemerality of modern life.” According to its website, it presently features in the international exhibition “Graphic Design – Now in Production” showing at the National Design Museum in New York and the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis.

The book pays tribute to 50 different logos that have been discontinued, each with a write-up covering its design and history. New to this edition are former logos for AT&T, Kodak, Unilever, Xerox and NASA.
