Maybe it’s just this Stim writer’s love for some nicely accented Spanish and a Western-style jingle, but this work for Toronto visual effects co The Vanity holds our attention right through the (living colour) dialogue. Take out the subtitles and we can imagine this is a conversation about unrequited love or a failed relationship. Of course, we know that these two are just talking excitedly about The Vanity hiring a film colourist, though perhaps the subtext is about love after all.
