It’s starting to get cold but that shouldn’t stop Canadians from taking it off when there’s a good cause involved. Underwear retailer Stanfield’s has once again enlisted the services of testicular cancer survivor Mark McIntyre to promote its support for below-the-waist cancer research, this time for Streak Week, encouraging people to get down to nothing but their underwear next week. People can either donate to McIntyre’s campaign – he’s begun his streaking early to raise awareness for the campaign – or sign up on Stanfield’s website to start raising donations for their own streaks. In addition, every time the hashtag #StreakWeek is shared on Twitter or Instagram (note: photographic evidence is a must) Stanfield’s will donate $1 to the Canadian Cancer Society. One thing to keep in mind if you do decide to streak, though: make sure you’re still wearing your Stanfield’s.
